The other day, a friend posted a video of a concrete pump hose failure:
I have come up with some guidance regarding the operation that you may wish to share/pass on. The ACPA information is especially helpful, see below.
While I don't know any details of the failure (it only happened a few weeks ago, based on the time stamp), there are some additional resources out there that you may find informative:
Not a hose failure, but still a failure to exercise proper caution, setup, and operation...see the outriggers on the left side, likely not extended to permit traffic to pass. Under limited circumstances, "short jacking" (on cranes too) is allowed, but that procedure 1) reduces capacity significantly and 2) changes allowable boom operations
